Terms & conditions
Last updated: [DATE — e.g. 18 July 2026]
What these cover
These terms govern your use of the website at churchillstrategy.ca, operated by [Churchill Strategy Corp.] in Edmonton, Alberta.
They do not govern our consulting work. Client engagements are covered by a separate written agreement signed before the work begins. If anything here appears to conflict with a signed engagement agreement, the signed agreement applies.
By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Using this site
You are welcome to read, print and share what we publish here. If you quote from it in a report, presentation or article, please attribute it to Churchill Strategy and link back where you can.
What we ask you not to do:
- Republish substantial parts of the site as your own content
- Present our frameworks, case studies or recommendations as your own work
- Copy the site's design system or brand elements for another organisation
- Scrape the site at scale, or use automated tools that disrupt it
- Use anything here in a way that is unlawful, or that misrepresents what we said
If you would like to use something in a way not covered above, ask — the answer is usually yes.
Our content
Unless stated otherwise, everything on this site — the writing, the case studies, the frameworks, the photography we commissioned, and the Churchill Strategy name, waypoint mark and visual system — belongs to us.
Destination Growth Blueprint is our [REGISTERED TRADE MARK / TRADE MARK — CONFIRM WHETHER REGISTERED, APPLIED FOR, OR UNREGISTERED].
The typefaces used on this site — Fraunces, Archivo and IBM Plex Mono — are open-source and licensed under their own terms.
Client names and results
Our case studies name real organisations, places and events. Those names, logos and event marks belong to the organisations that own them, and appear here to describe work we did — not to suggest they endorse or are affiliated with anything else we offer.
About the results we describe
The outcomes described in our case studies happened in those specific places, with those specific organisations, under the conditions of the day. They are a record of what occurred, not a forecast.
Nothing on this site is a guarantee, warranty or promise that similar work will produce similar results. Place strategy depends on factors outside any consultant's control — funding, weather, politics, staffing, timing and the willingness of partners to act.
Where we cite a figure supplied by a client or published by a third party, we attribute it. If you believe anything we have published about your organisation is inaccurate, please tell us and we will correct it.
Accuracy, and links to other sites
We publish this material in good faith and take care to keep it accurate, but the site is updated from time to time and some of it will inevitably go out of date. Case studies describe engagements as they stood when written.
Nothing published here is professional advice for your particular place or organisation. General thinking on a website cannot account for your funding, your board, your politics or your timing — which is rather the point of an engagement. If you need advice, talk to us or to another qualified adviser.
This site links to organisations we have worked with, to third-party listings, and to our newsletter on Substack. Those sites are not under our control. We link to them because they are useful or relevant, not as an endorsement of everything on them, and we are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws in the Province of Alberta, Canada, and by the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
Questions
Anything about these terms goes to Winston Pon at winston.pon@churchillstrategy.ca or 780-708-2807.
